Students at École Montrose are able to access The Academy sports programs and Music Program 5 to 8.

École Montrose is proud to provide opportunities for students to excel, develop leadership skills and become active engaged citizens who can learn and work in French or English.

When you visit our school, you will find students who are willing to take risks.  You will also find students and staff who treat each other with dignity and respect.  Students are engaged because of an increased hands-on approach to learning, and an instruction style that caters to different learning needs.

We believe that:

  • Every successful school begins with successful relationships

  • Students learn best when varied instructional approaches are used so we are responsive to the differences and diversity exhibited by young adolescents

  • A “whole child” focus is needed to address a students’ physical, educational, social and emotional well-being.

  • Broadening experiences, strengthening adaptability and building resiliency for students to meet the competencies of the 21st century learners through engaging instruction

Our learning environment reflects pride in achievement, responsibility to the school and others, and the mutual respect for all who are a part of the Montrose community.
