School Council & Friends of École Montrose Society
We’re excited to invite you to our School Council meetings, held on the third Wednesday of each month! These meetings are a fantastic opportunity for parents, and guardians within our school community to collaborate and contribute to the growth and success of our school.
Why are School Councils Important?
In Alberta, School Councils play a crucial role in fostering collaboration between parents, teachers, and the school administration. According to the Alberta School Councils’ Association (ASCA), these councils are instrumental in:
- Supporting and enhancing student learning.
- Providing a platform for parents and guardians to voice their opinions and engage in school life.
- Contributing to the development of school policies and programs.
- Strengthening the partnership between home and school.
By participating in our School Council meetings, you help ensure that our school remains a dynamic and supportive environment for all our students.
